Nia Centre for the Arts is a cherished not-for-profit organization based in Toronto, dedicated to promoting and supporting artistic expression from the African Diaspora. Established in 2015 at 524 Oakwood Ave, we are proud to be Canada’s first professional Black arts centre, designed specifically for Black artists and young creatives.
Our mission goes beyond exhibitions; we provide a creative hub that nurtures both professional and emerging artists. We engage the community through various artistic programs, workshops, and an inclusive event space, making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
